What should your kitchen do better?

A kitchen can look beautiful and still make you work around it. Start with the moments you want to improve, then choose the cabinetry that supports them.

Does everyone gather where you need to cook?

Think through the island, seating, preparation space and paths between appliances. Share how many people usually use the room and what changes when guests arrive. A cabinet plan should consider the whole kitchen.

Is there a useful place for everything?

Include serving dishes, pantry supplies, cookware and small appliances in the conversation. Discuss drawers, tall storage and cabinet accessories early, while their dimensions can still be part of the plan.

Does the kitchen feel connected to the house?

Bring photographs of adjoining rooms as well as the kitchen. Cabinet finishes, an island, open shelving and a backsplash should feel considered together, whether you prefer painted cabinetry, natural wood or a combination.

Which cabinet route fits your project?

MCW offers custom cabinetry, Matrix Cabinets and ProCraft Cabinetry. The right starting point depends on the room, the details you want and the complete scope you need to price.

Custom cabinetry

Bring the dimensions, finish ideas and individual details that matter to your home. Discuss where custom work can answer a particular layout or design need, including an island, pantry or adjoining cabinetry within the larger project.

Matrix and ProCraft cabinetry

Explore the available door styles, finishes and cabinet configurations. Work through the selections against your layout and appliance information so the order reflects the kitchen you intend to build.

Storage inside the cabinets

As a Rev-A-Shelf dealer, MCW can help you explore pullouts and organizers. Product fit depends on the cabinet opening, selected model and any obstructions. Confirm the accessories included in your quote before ordering.

Already have a builder or installer?

You can purchase cabinets from MCW for your own installer. Start with the plans or measurements you have, appliance specifications and the cabinet look you want. We will discuss selections, cabinet fit and the ordering scope.

Before an order is placed, agree who is responsible for final measurements, installation and the surrounding work. If you are working with a designer or builder, bring their current drawings and selection information into the conversation. Clear responsibilities help everyone plan around the same cabinet order.

Would cabinets and tile work better as one plan?

MCW handles tile installation in-house, including kitchen backsplashes, tile floors and showers. For a kitchen project, consider the backsplash alongside the cabinet and countertop finishes so the pattern, grout, edges and range area work together.

Ask for the tile work you want included. Your written quote identifies materials, preparation, installation and responsibilities; a backsplash is not automatically included in every cabinet order.

Look at the cabinet proportions, combinations of painted and wood finishes, and the way cabinetry meets the backsplash. Save the details you like and bring them to your project conversation.

How do we get from ideas to a clear scope?

  1. Tell us about the property. Share your city or ZIP code, whether you are remodeling or building, and the rooms involved. If this is a second home, include when you expect to be available and who else is involved in the project.
  2. Bring the starting information. Photos, rough measurements, inspiration and appliance details help explain the room. Finished plans are not required for the first conversation.
  3. Work through the cabinet plan. Discuss layout, finishes, storage, installation and any tile work. Include your budget range and preferred timing so the priorities are clear.
  4. Review the quote before committing. Confirm selections, pricing, availability, responsibilities and next steps. Lead times and installation scheduling are agreed for the specific project.
