Three routes. One complete kitchen plan.

The useful comparison is how each option fits your layout, storage needs, finish choices and full project scope.

Custom cabinetry

Bring unusual dimensions, distinctive finish ideas and specific storage needs to the conversation. Ask MCW how custom cabinetry could respond to your space and which details affect the scope.

Matrix Cabinets

Start with the current door styles and finishes you like. Have MCW check the cabinet sizes, storage options and selections against your kitchen layout, then confirm the exact products in your quote.

ProCraft Cabinetry

Bring your preferred look and the storage you need. Compare the actual ProCraft product selections proposed for your kitchen, including dimensions, finish, accessories and installation scope.

Compare cabinet quotes with this seven-point checklist

Two totals are useful only when you understand the work behind them. Ask for these items to be clear in each proposal:

  1. Whole-room layout: perimeter cabinets, island, pantry and any adjoining cabinetry included.
  2. Exact selections: cabinet maker or product line, door style, finish and dimensions.
  3. Construction details: the specified cabinet-box, door and drawer materials, plus hinges and slides.
  4. Storage: drawer banks, pull-outs, pantry fittings and other accessories actually included.
  5. Finished details: end panels, fillers, trim and hardware, with responsibilities identified.
  6. Installation and related work: identify installation, demolition, countertops, tile, appliances, plumbing and electrical work separately in the scope.
  7. Timing and next steps: confirm current availability, scheduling, payment terms and applicable warranties for the proposed work.

Ask what changes if a selection changes. Your written project quote should identify the work you are comparing.

Bring these five things to your first MCW conversation
  • Your city or ZIP code, and whether this is a remodel or new construction.
  • Photos of the room and a few inspiration images.
  • Rough room measurements and any existing plans. Share appliance model information when available.
  • Your three biggest frustrations: crowded prep space, awkward storage, an undersized pantry or something else.
  • Your budget range, preferred timing and the complete cabinetry wish list.

You can start the conversation before every selection is settled. MCW can discuss what additional information is needed for your quote.

Plan the backsplash with the cabinets

Choose cabinet, countertop and tile finishes with the whole room in mind. Discuss the tile pattern, grout, finished edges and areas to be covered before the scope is finalized.

MCW installs tile backsplashes in-house. Ask to include the materials, preparation and installation in your proposed kitchen scope. Your quote confirms what is included.

Bring the kitchen you want into focus.

Tell us where the project is, what needs to work better and the look you love. We will work through cabinet options and discuss the scope for your complete kitchen.
